IRC -ITC EXPRESS No-Code Technican HAM class; 28 MAY 2005:
Welcome to the (6) New Techinican Class Hams that endured
the rigors of the 2nd ITC/IRC sponsored Express ham class.
The class was held at the ITC facilities during the week of
May 23-28,2005.
Testing was completed on MAy 28th; by the RedCross
VE team coordinated by Gale- AA9WU;
Special thanks to the VE's John, Joe, Steve & Dave.
First Contact Party for the New Hams was held at the ITC facility on May 28th ,2005.
during the 1 Hr session the new hams made contacts with local hams on 2meter,
40 & 20 Meters.
Some parents were available to watch as the new hams took the helm for their first radio contacts...
The 1st contact party helps the new hams get accquainted with the real world of
ham radio
and operational procedures on the air with some mentoring...
